The other night Joe came home exhausted. He had been up until 2 am working with a guy in our ward who makes toys and needed some help during his busy season. He then got up and ran his route to St. George only to come home and work a few hours at his regular job. He didn't get home until seven. (keep in mind it's been a very busy day.) He gets home and is greeted by Alaina "Dad lets chase!" So he spent the next hour chasing, playing hide and seek and dodgeball with the kids. No complaints in fact he remarked how fun it was to spend that time with them. Finally after dinner scriptures and prayer and some more monster chasing the kids we got them into bed. Joe came out and sat on the couch. Poor guy I know he was exhausted but he still took the time to listen to me tell everything about my day before he he fell asleep on the couch. I love that man! He is always doing something to help their development! Tonight I got home from my class to find him teaching her the regular rules of how to play matching. (She usually plays on a computer) He very patiently explained to her the rules which she didn't like and got her to play by them. He had been doing this for over an hour. (At that point I'm ready to be done!) But he kept at it. He is one of the most patient men I have ever met and to think I GET to be with him forever! I must been the most blessed woman in the world!!
